“…light bulbs shall be shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter-resistant in areas where there is exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; or unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.”

Use of safety/protective lighting in the food service industry is mandated by the FDA. Why do I Need Shatterproof Lighting?

Well let’s look at the structure of an elevator. Elevators have a very closed type structure that people remain in without having the option to exit during their use. Let’s say we are on the west coast in an office building riding the elevator up, ready to start our busy day at work and an earthquake happens.
